「龍」在我們的民族是尊貴及最為人們崇拜尊敬，我們常自稱為龍的子女。而「孔雀」則是代表著高貴、吉祥。因此我們民族中有許多和動物有關的舞蹈， 孔雀舞就是模擬孔雀體態的舞蹈。
舞蹈描述：舞者隨著音樂變化出孔雀的姿態，如覓食、飲水、喜悅等。
The Peacock Dance
“Dragon” is well respected and honored in our culture, which we often say that we are the children of dragons. On the other hand, “peacock” represents noble and good luck. Therefore, there are often many dances related to animals in our folk dance. “The Peacock Dance” is an imitation of peacock’s postures.
Story of the dance: Dancer presents the form of peacock, in the way they move, eat, and play.
La danse du paon
Le dragon, le lion, la grue, la tortue et le paon représentent la paix, la longévité et la bonne chance dans la société traditionnelle taiwanaise. Les gens montrent un respect profond et une adoration pour eux, et commencent à imiter leurs mouvements et créé des danses en fin d’apporter la bonne fortune.
